An exceptionally fine and rare set of English drawing instruments.
The set, which is from ca 1700, is signed 'Tuttell, Charing Cross, FECIT' and is housed in a black fishskin-covered wooden case.
This superb pocket case of drawing instruments in silver is signed on several pieces; in both English and French. It is likely that this set was intended for a customer on the Continent.
